1-1/3 c corn meal
2/3 c flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1 Large egg
1 c milk
1/4 c margarine, melted
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
In medium-size bowl, combine corn meal, flour, sugar and baking powder.
In small bowl, combine egg and milk; add to corn meal mixture, mixing just until moistened. Add margarine.
Spoon into lightly greased 8-inch square baking pan and bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
