1 Recipe BASIC TURKEY BURGER PLUS, recipe follows
1 tbsp margarine
1/4 lb mushrooms, cleaned, stems removed and thinly sliced
1/4 tsp dried thyme leaves
1 tbsp brandy
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1/2 c plain yogurt
1/2 c salt and pepper
4 Hamburger buns, lightly toasted
Prepare BASIC TURKEY BURGER PLUS recipe
In medium skillet, heat margarine until bubbly. Add mushrooms and thyme, and saute 1 to 2 minutes. Add brandy and garlic powder; and cook 1/2 minute. Stir in yogurt, if desired; heat just until warm. (Do not boil).
To serve, place cooked burger on bottom half of bun and top with mushroom sauce and other half of bun.
