1 tsp olive oil
1 lb frozen bread or pizza dough, thawed
1/2 c pasta sauce, low sodium
4 oz ITALIAN TURKEY SAUSAGE, cooked & thinly sliced
4 Medium button mushrooms, cleaned, trimmed & sliced
1 Small sweet onion, sliced thin
1 Small green bell pepper, seeded & cut into 1-inch strips
1 tsp dried oregano
4 oz part-skim Mozzarella cheese, shredded
Heat oven to 500 degrees F.
Lightly oil 10-inch round pizza pan. Roll out dough according to package directions; press into prepared pan.
Brush dough with oil. Spread sauce on dough. Top with cooked sausage. Arrange mushrooms, onion and green pepper evenly over sausage.
Sprinkle evenly with oregano and cheese.
Bake until crust is browned and crisp, 10-12 minutes. Serve hot.
Makes one 10-inch pizza with 4-6 appetizer or kid's portions.
