1 lb GROUND TURKEY, cold
2 Drops liquid smoke
2 tsp salt
1-1/4 tsp dried sage leaves
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp poultry seasonings
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1. Thoroughly mix all ingredients together. Form into 6 patties.
2. Cover and refrigerate for several hours to allow the flavors to permeate.
3. To cook: spray a non-stick frying pan with cooking spray. Add patties and cook over medium heat, turning once, until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
