1 Large Vidalia onion, peeled
1-1/2 lbs GROUND TURKEY
2 Slices potato bread, crumbled
2 tbsp grill mates Montreal steak seasoning
2 tbsp grill mates Spicy Montreal steak seasoning
1/4 tsp salt
1/8 c olive oil
1 Large beefsteak tomato, cut in thick slices
6 plain bagels, split and toasted
Finely chop enough onion to measure 1/3 cup. Thinly slice remaining onion; reserve for grilling.
Gently combine chopped onion, ground turkey, potato bread, seasoning mixes and salt. Form into 6 1/4-pound patties.
Grill turkey burgers, about 4-inches from the heat source for 5 to 6 minutes per side until 165 degrees F. is reached on meat thermometer and turkey is no longer pink in center.
Remove turkey burgers and keep warm. Brush olive oil on grill and grill sliced onions for 2-3 minutes. Add tomato slices and continue to grill for an additional minute.
Assemble burgers on toasted bagel halves and top with grilled vegetables.
