1 (6-oz) TURKEY BURGER
1-oz sliced Swiss cheese
1 to 2 tbsp herbed mayonnaise
1 whole wheat hamburger bun, split and toasted lightly
1/2 of a Medium avocado, peeled and sliced
Red ripe tomato slices As needed
Crisp lettuce leaves As needed
French fries As needed
Grill the turkey burger, 4 to 5 inches from the heat source, until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Immediately, place sliced Swiss cheese atop the burger.
Spread herbed mayonnaise atop both sides of the split bun.
Assemble the burger, open-faced, with the avocado atop the Swiss cheese/turkey burger and the tomato and lettuce on the other side of the bun.
Serve the turkey burger with French fries.
