2 tsp olive oil
1/2 lb sweet or spicy ITALIAN TURKEY SAUSAGE, cut into 1/4-inch coin slices
2 Large onions, cut into narrow wedges
1 Large green pepper, seeded and cut into narrow strips
1 Large red pepper, seeded and cut into narrow strips
1 1/2 c prepared pasta sauce
1 (11-Inch) prepared pizza crust
8 oz shredded mixed Italian blend cheese, DIVIDED
1/2 tsp dried oregano
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Heat oil in skillet and add sausage slices. Sauté about 3 minutes, turning once during cooking. Remove from pan and reserve.
Add onion and pepper strips to the pan and sauté 10 minutes over medium heat until tender.
Liberally spread pasta sauce on pizza crust. Sprinkle with half the cheese. Top with onion mixture.
Arrange sausage atop onions. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and oregano.
Bake in preheated oven for about 20 minutes, until cheese is melted, crust is golden and pizza is hot throughout.
Cut into 8 wedges.
