2 Large eggs
1 c cream
2-1/2 c soft cubed bread crumbs
4 lbs GROUND TURKEY
2 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 c dried Italian flavored breadcrumbs
1/2 c olive oil
1 c pesto sauce
Beat eggs and whip in cream. Stir in cubed bread and mix well.
Add ground turkey, salt and pepper, mixing gently but well. Shape into 1/3-pound patties.
Combine dried breadcrumbs, olive oil and pesto.
Coat each patty with pesto mixture.
Coat a sheet pan with non-stick spray and place patties on pan.
Bake in a preheated 375 degree F oven until a food thermometer reaches 165 degrees F when inserted into the middle of the burger.
Offer this stand alone burger on a low-carb menu.
