1 4-oz Turkey patty, seasoned
1 Jumbo sesame seed bun, split and toasted
1 tbsp Jack's Classic Mayo-Onion Sauce, or substitute (see NOTE)
As needed ketchup
2 Thin slices fresh red onion
1-2 Leaves iceberg lettuce, washed, dried and crisp
2 Slices red-ripe tomato
3 Slices Swiss cheese
Grill turkey patty until the internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
Assembly
Spread 1 tablespoon mayo-onion sauce evenly to cover entire surface of top bun.
Apply a spiral of ketchup on top of the mayo-onion sauce.
Place onion slices on top of ketchup spiral.
Place lettuce leaves on top of onions.
Place tomato slices on top of lettuce.
Place 1 slice of cheese on tomatoes and 2 slices of cheese, slightly spread out, on bun bottom.
Place hot turkey patty on the prepared bun bottom. Immediately close sandwich and serve.
NOTE: Substitute Green Onion Sauce: In a medium bowl, combine 1/2 cup mayonnaise, 3 tablespoons cream, 2 drops Tabasco sauce, 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard, 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1/8 teaspoon pepper, 1/4 seeded and chopped japapeno chile, 1/8 teaspoon sugar and 3 tablespoons finely chopped green onions. Cover and refrigerate at least 1 hour.
