1 lb ground turkey
2 tbsp minced dried onion
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp paprika
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp dried oregano
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp pepper
10 hard taco shells
1 to 2 tomatoes, chopped
2 to 3 c lettuce, shredded
2/3 c Cheddar cheese, grated
Taco sauce, as needed
Sour cream, as needed
Guacamole, as needed
Ripe olives, pitted, chopped or sliced, as needed
Red onions, minced, as needed
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, combine turkey, onions, chili powder, paprika, cumin, oregano, salt, garlic powder and pepper.
Cook for 7 to 8 minutes or until turkey is no longer pink.
Spoon mixture evenly into taco shells. Top each taco evenly with tomatoes, lettuce and cheese.
Other optional toppings include: taco sauce, sour cream, guacamole, olives and minced onions.
