3/4 c teriyaki sauce, less-sodium
1/4 c peach preserves
1 c minced fresh onion
2 c minced water chestnuts, well drained
3 lbs GROUND TURKEY
1 tsp kosher salt
1 tsp freshly ground black pepper
12 sandwich buns, split and toasted
Blend teriyaki sauce, preserves and onion together. Remove 1/3 cup and reserve.
Add minced water chestnuts and ground turkey. Season with salt and pepper.
Gently mix to blend together. Shape into 12 4-ounce patties. Lightly brush both sides with remaining teriyaki sauce.
Per order: grill burgers 4 to 5 inches from the heat, turning once, for 5 to 7 minutes per side or until the internal temperature measures 165 degrees F.
Serve on toasted buns.
