Turkey with Corn Dumplings

Ingredients

1 Can (7 oz) cornbread twists, refrigerated

1 Package (1-1/4 oz) white cheese sauce mix

3 c skim milk

3/4 c no-fat Parmesan cheese

1 lb no-salt DELI TURKEY BREAST MEAT, cut into 1/2-inch cubes

1 tbsp dried chives

Separate cornbread strips and cut into thirds. Twist each piece once to resemble a bow tie.


In 5-quart saucepan, over medium heat, combine sauce mix and milk. Cook 4 to 5 minutes, stirring until mixture is smooth and slightly thickened. Stir in cheese and turkey. Top with chives and twisted cornbread pieces. cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer 20 to 22 minutes or until dumplings are puffy and no longer doughy in center.


To serve, spoon mixture into bowls keeping bow ties on top.
